KAIZEN Part Ways With Drummer, Seek Replacement
March 10, 2005French metalcore act KAIZEN have parted ways with drummer Laurent Caradec due to "musical differences." "We arrived to a point of no return and it was not an easy decision to take," the band write in a statement. "We have a lot of respect for everything [Laurent] achieved within the band during many years. We are now searching for a new drummer. He must be highly motivated, looking for numerous shows and recording sessions, and for sure, with good drumming skills. Anyone who wants to apply can send an email to [email protected]."
KAIZEN recently finished recording and mixing their second album at Mynetaur Productions Studios in Stockport, U.K. with producer (and former KILL II THIS guitarist) Mark Mynett. The follow-up to 2003's "Clear the Path" will contain 11 songs and will be released in early May on XIIIbis Records.
KAIZEN's next live performance will take place on May 21 in Saint Imet, Switzerland. Also appearing on the bill will be LOFOFORA and UNDERSCHOOL ELEMENTS.
